In the last half a dozen years, the world of education has taken a giant leap toward integrating technology into schools. The Smart Board is the latest manifestation of this phenomenon. The teachers? job of preparing lessons has not become easier with Smart Boards but his lessons have become infinitely more exciting and his ability to individualize and engage more of his students will increase manifold.

German Faces Jail for Hitler Speech Ring-Tone

GERMANY — A German man is facing up to six months in prison for having a speech by Adolf Hitler as mobile phone ring tone. The 54-year-old man programmed his Nokia phone to play a speech, in which the Nazi leader pledged the “destruction of world Jewry” if Germany was “dragged” into war, according to a story in the Daily Telegraph.

The Wilansky family sent an email to CrownHeights.info, thanking the community for saying Tehilim for their grandparents. The grandparents are on life support, after being severely injured in a car accident in Connecticut. The email goes on to give an update on their condition and requesting to continue saying Tehillim.

Judge Orders Tubroburg to Pay Up

A state Supreme Court judge has ordered a kosher food plant owner to pay nearly $167,000 in delinquent utility bills by close of business July 2.

The city of Ogdensburg can shut off water and sewer service to the plant operated by Tubroburg LLC, owned by Menachem and Schneur Bistritzky, on July 6 should the payment not be made, Judge David R. Demarest wrote in a decision released Thursday.

A prohibition era law banning the sale of alcohol stronger then 160 proof in New York has been lifted on the 1st of this month. Zeks un Ninetziker, also known as Raineh Mashke, Tzav or rubbing alcohol, is 192 proof/96 percent strength alcohol that is one of the staples at just a handful of Shabbos Kiddushim and Farbrenges in 770 and around Crown Heights.

Over the past 3 months, the school has collected new, and new-condition items that people have lying in their closets, but have no use for.
