A chassidisheh farbrengan took place Wednesday night in Yeshivah Gedolah Melbourne, in honer of Yud Beis Tammuz, with Rabbi Yossi Paltial who is in Melbourne for the week to farbreng and give Shuirim to Anash.

Over 100 men packed Chovevi Torah's hall on Wednesday night. It was a mixed crowd with some more Chassidish, others more modern and an array of views. The common denominator was that they were all Israelis who live in Crown Heights. Some young Israelis decided to take the initiative and arrange gatherings for the Hebrew-speaking residents of the neighborhood and judging by this first event, there is a great interest in something of this kind.

Some 1000 people from all walks of life gathered at Chabad of the Valley Headquarters in Tarzana on Tuesday evening, Gimmel Tammuz, to observe the 17th Yahrzeit--Hilulah of the Rebbe. A full meal was served.
