BANGALORE, India [CHI] — Chanukah parties in the Chabad House in Bangalore was celebrated throughout the eight nights with a wide variety of people in attendance, including businessmen, students as well as families and children. But the special story of finding a lone Jew, who has been in India for more than 40 years, particularly brightened the local Shluchims Chanukah.

This Chanukah the Talmud Thora Lubavitch of Bom Retiro, S. Paulo had an awesome Hanukkah party. Over 300 people attended the event when the 7th Menorah candle was lit.

Lubavitch Elementary School carried out an inspiring new project in honor of a young boy named Leizer Galperin. Leizer, who is from Kiryat Malachi in Israel, was severely injured, with burns over 80% of his body, when a fire broke out last summer while the family was home.
