A lieutenant in the 71st Precinct was involved in an accident earlier tonight, injuring himself and a civilian.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — An accident on President Street turned chaotic after one of the drivers attempted to flee the scene – on foot, only to be chased down and apprehended not even a block away.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Two ConEd workers were injured this morning in an incident that can only be chalked up to unsafe work practice, at the fault of the workers themselves.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A driver was pinned inside his vehicle after being t-boned while attempting to cross an intersection on Albany Avenue. Emergency Services put the Jaws of Life to work to extricate the driver.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — An off duty cop was injured when he was involved in a car accident in the intersection of Crown and Troy. The driver door had to be cut off in order to free the driver from the wreckage.

Crown and Brooklyn, once known as the most dangerous intersection in the neighborhood, played host to yet another accident in which one car tore through a red light, sending both cars onto the sidewalk.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A Lubavitcher woman was struck by a car on Lefferts Avenue Thursday afternoon and was injured.

An off duty FDNY firefighter was struck and seriously injured in a Wednesday evening smashup on Eastern Parkway. Eyewitnesses said that he flipped off his motorcycle multiple times, and came to rest some 300 feet from his bike in the opposite traffic lane.
